Scarce example of a 1945 made in Belgium canteen cup. Late war, various mess items were manufactured in theatre to help alleviate stress on supply chains and kickstart the local economies. This is one such example. It never appears to have been issued, just stored, as the inside of the cup is in excellent condition and the outside retains most of its finish, save for some scrapes from being moved around warehouses for 75 odd years.
