These are copies of the 2nd pattern canteen cover used by the United States Marine Corps during WWII. They feature Lift the Dot style fastenings as opposed to the press snap type found on the earlier 1st pattern models. These are well made and unlike many copies will actually fit both the canteen and the cup (not included).
